Dr. Emily Lein currently serves as the Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Pharmacy resident for 2021-2022. Dr. Lein received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree at The Ohio State University and then continued to receive her PharmD at OSU. Throughout pharmacy school she worked as a pharmacy intern in the Outpatient Pharmacy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. Through this experience, she fell in love with ambulatory care and transitions of care services. She chose to join our team to grow her knowledge in chronic disease management and to help bridge the gap between hospital stay and primary care provider services. After her residency she hopes to complete a Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY-2) in Ambulatory Care and continue to serve all patient populations through comprehensive management of chronic disease states.
Dr. Lein met her boyfriend at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where he is a Physical Therapist. They love exploring new cities, trying different cuisines and cooking at home. They love spending time with their family, friends, dog (Tucker) and cat (Milo). Dr. Lein enjoys meeting new people and taking cycling classes. In the coming years she hopes to travel to Athens, Greece and Florence, Italy.
